Personal data privacy notice

Privacy & cookies

How your data is handled when you visit this website or contact me.

Last updated:

At a glance. This website presents my services and lets you contact me by email. It does not use advertising tools, newsletters or visitor analytics. The Cloudflare infrastructure uses technical tools to protect the website from automated traffic and abuse.

1. Controller and contact details

The data controller is Klára Apolena Kaděrová, a self-employed professional, Italian VAT no. 13205340014, operating in San Donato Milanese, Italy.

For information or to exercise your rights, email k.kaderova@aniti.it.

This notice, provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), covers klaraapolenakaderova.com and enquiries sent to the contact details shown on the website.

2. Data processed and purposes

Browsing and security

To deliver pages and protect the service, the infrastructure receives technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested page, browser and device information, the request outcome and signals needed to detect automated or harmful traffic.

The purpose is to make the website available, keep it working and prevent abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the security and continuity of the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical data needed for the connection is transmitted automatically; the website cannot load without it.

Email enquiries

If you email me, I receive your email address, any name you provide, and the information or attachments you choose to send. I use these to reply, prepare a quotation and handle your enquiry about interpreting, translation or language lessons.

For enquiries about a possible assignment, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other relevant correspondence, it is the legitimate interest in replying (point (f)). Any legal obligations are based on point (c).

Contacting me is optional, but the information necessary to respond must be available for me to handle your enquiry. Only send relevant information; identity documents, health data or confidential documents concerning others are not needed for an initial enquiry.

The website has no registration forms, online payments or newsletter subscriptions. I do not carry out advertising profiling or use the website to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Providers, recipients and transfers

The website is published through ChatGPT Sites, an OpenAI service, on Cloudflare infrastructure for content delivery and security. The domain is registered with Aruba. Email communications are handled by the providers of the email service used for the contact address.

Technical providers may process data as necessary to deliver their services, and data may be disclosed to competent authorities when required by law. Received messages are not published on the website. Professional assignments may require additional information about processing, provided in the relevant context.

Hosting and security services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In their privacy notices, OpenAI and Cloudflare describe applicable safeguards, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, depending on the service and transfer. You can request further information from the controller.

External links

The links to LinkedIn and ANITI are ordinary links, not embedded widgets. Opening them takes you to another website, subject to its own privacy notice. The email link opens your email application; no message is sent until you send it yourself.

4. Data retention

Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to reply and handle your enquiry. The period is determined by the status of the enquiry, any subsequent agreements and the need to document communications or protect a right. If a professional relationship is established, relevant contractual, accounting and tax obligations also apply; disputes may require retention until they are resolved.

Infrastructure providers manage technical data and logs according to their retention periods and criteria, linked to service delivery, security and legal obligations, as described in the policies linked above. A cookie’s lifetime in the browser is separate from log retention and is described below.

6. Your rights

In the circumstances and within the limits set by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Send your request to k.kaderova@aniti.it. You will receive a response within the GDPR’s time limits, normally one month; any justified extension will be communicated. To protect your data, information necessary to verify your identity may be requested.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the competent supervisory authority in the country where you habitually reside, work or believe an infringement occurred.

7. Updates

This page is updated when website features or processing practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
